PITTSBURGH (CBS) ― Monday's triple overtime battle is just a memory now as the Penguins get ready to take on the Red Wings at Mellon Arena tonight.

As the hours tick away to tonight's face off, the excitement is building among fans.

It's another must-win for the Pens who still trail Detroit by a game; but fans say they're confident that the team will step up to the challenge again.

After practice this morning, Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby told reporters: "Every guy on our team is willing to do whatever it takes to win and play through whatever it takes."

Pens Forward Max Talbot helped keep his team alive with his goal that pushed Game 5 into triple overtime on Monday.

As exciting and exhausting as that win was, though, Talbot says they can't afford to look back now.

"It's nice to talk about the game and everything," Talbot added, "but it won't mean anything if we don't win Game 6."

Fans like Pat Popoleo of Belle Vernon say they're impressed with how the team has been playing.

"I always am impressed with Malone," Popoleo adds. "I think he just plays so hard and being a hometown kid, too -- that's great!

"I think they should do well," Popoleo continues, "simply because they should have a lot more confidence.. and I think the home crowd should be great for them!"

"They're really trying hard for the city of Pittsburgh to bring the Cup here," Bob Wolkovitz of Mt. Lebanon told KDKA.

Over 17,000 fans are expected to pack Mellon Arena for Game 6 tonight and the Pens have called for another white out to help cheer the team on to a win.

Though tickets sold out in about 16-minutes yesterday morning, the Pens are planning to show the game on the big screen outside Gate 3 of the arena -- unless there is lightning in the area.
