Penguins forward Max Talbot is slated to have surgery on his shoulder.

The Post-Gazette reports Talbot will have the surgery in the near future, but it's not clear exactly when.

It's also not clear which shoulder will be operated on or whether he'll be ready to go at the start of next season.
