Still riding high from winning the Stanley Cup, Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma received a special phone call.
According to the organization, President Barack Obama phoned Bylsma Thursday to congratulate him and the team for winning the Stanley Cup.
"To hear from the President of the United States and have him congratulate our team on this accomplishment is such an incredible honor that I'm almost speechless," Bylsma said in a statement released by the Penguins. "President Obama is dealing with so many important issues facing the country and the world. It says a lot about him that he would take time to place that call. It is a highlight I will never forget."
Approximately 375,000 Penguins fans turned out for the team's victory parade in downtown Pittsburgh Monday.
