Stan Savran Undergoes Quadruple Bypass Surgery

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Local sports broadcaster Stan Savran is in intensive care at UPMC Shadyside after having quadruple bypass surgery.

Savran had apparently been having some chest pain and became ill during the Steelers game Sunday night.

There's no word on his condition right now.

Savran's show "Sports Beat" was the longest-running TV sports show in Pittsburgh until it was cancelled earlier this year.
