Pens Put Crosby On Injured Reserve
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
Doctors will evaluate Sidney Crosby's ankle today.
The Penguins' captain and leading scorer suffered a high ankle sprain during Friday's game at Mellon Arena.
Team officials expect the swelling to go down enough for a full evaluation today.
Meantime, the Pens have placed Crosby on injured reserve.

In light of Crosby's injury, the Penguins have recalled three forwards from Wilkes-Barre.
The new additions to the lineup include

Right Wing Jonathan Filewich and Center Tim Brent.
