Bucs Fall 5-3 Against Marlins On 4th Of July

MIAMI (KDKA/AP) ― The Pirates had not lost this season against the Florida Marlins, but dropped their game against them on Saturday evening.

The Bucs lost 5-3 in Florida on the Fourth of July.

For the Marlins, Hanley Ramirez homered and Andrew Miller pitched effectively into the seventh inning.

Andy LaRoche and Garrett Jones both homered for Pittsburgh.

The Pirates have now lost five of their last seven games.
