Pryor, Buckeyes Defeat Nittany Lions, 24-7
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (KDKA) ―
The Big Ten showdown between Penn State and Ohio State went to the Buckeyes as they visited State College Saturday.
Former Jeannette High School quarterback Terrelle Pryor threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as his Buckeyes won 24-7.
Pryor's 62-yard touchdown pass to Devier Posey deflated the hostile crowd and gave Ohio State a 17-7 lead late in the third quarter.
The Ohio State quarterback was expected to get his share of boos during the visit after his recruitment battle between the two schools last year.
The Nittany Lions' Daryll Clark had the only score for Penn State with a 1-yard touchdown plunge.
Clark finished 12 of 28 for 125 yards and the interception. He ran for 20 yards on 11 carries.
Evan Royster managed just 36 yards on 13 carries, and a couple dropped passes didn't help the offense, either.
The Nittany Lions will host Indiana on Nov. 14.
