Penguins Playoff Tickets Sell Out Fast

A Penguins rally will be held Friday at noon at Market Square.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The Pittsburgh Penguins quickly sold out all of their remaining tickets for Games 1 and 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Approximately 2,000 tickets for each game went on sale to the general public today at 10 a.m. and were quickly gone.

The Pens face-off against the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 9.

The puck drops for Game 2 at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, May 11.

Tickets for round one and two also sold out in a matter of minutes.

Meanwhile, Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato and Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl have announced a Penguins rally this Friday at Market Square.

The rally will begin at noon and fans are asked to wear black and gold.

Friday has been declared "Black & Gold Day" in honor of the first game against the Flyers.
