Austrain Cyclist Kohl Tests Positive For Drug

PARIS (AP) ― The head of France's anti-doping agency says Austrian cyclist Bernhard Kohl tested positive for a banned blood booster at the Tour de France, where he finished third.

Pierre Bordry tells The Associated Press that he has informed Austrian anti-doping authorities so they can notify Kohl. He is the fourth rider confirmed positive for CERA from this year's Tour.

Kohl was third behind Carlos Sastre and Cadel Evans in the second-tightest podium finish in the 105-year-old race. The Gerolsteiner rider earned the polka-dot jersey as the best rider in the mountains.
