My laptop is acting up today, so there will not be a recap. ..

Phyllis gives Noah some straight talk

Jack is doing an interview with a TV reporter to promote the smear article about him in Restless Style.

At the magazine offices, Phyllis tells Sharon that they found a body in Mexico.  Noah comes in saying he had a dream about Victor who told him he was at peace.

In Mexico, Nick tells Nikki that Adam declared himself King of Newman Enterprises and fired Neil.  Nick tells mummy to go back to the hotel so he can ID the body.  Nikki refuses. Just then, the bartender comes in saying they found "this man" in the tide pool. 

Karen is at the campus house with Neil, Lily and Devon.  Ana's leaving for school today.  Aside, Karen asks Neil if he told his kids that he was fired from Newman.  Neil says no - it's tough enough with Ana leaving.  Just then, Ana and Tyra arrive.  They're throwing her a going away party.  Tyra says she's moving to New Hampshire.

At Cane's house, Chloe is having stuff delivered yet.  She's remodeling!  Cane says he should have stayed single instead of letting her scam her way into his life.  Chloe shows him the receipt.  She wants to show him the stuff she bought.  Cane pulls a girafffe out of the bag.  Chloe says it's for the baby - not her and will put it in the nursery.

At the campus house, LIly is taking pictures of Ana and Devon.  Karen joins in the fun.  Aside, Neil asks Tyra when she decided to move to New Hampshire with Ana.  Tyra says Ana can't leave being mad at her.    Neil asks Tyra not to go, as Karen is watching from the sdie.

Jack tells the reporter that the partners at Restless Style are at war. 

Phyllis tells Sharon the Mexican authorities issued a death certificate for Victor.  Sharon wonders if Victor is still alive and doesn't want to tell Noah.  Phyllis thinks she should tell him before he finds out online.  Sharon tells Noah that a death certificate for Victor and Nick is stil looking for him.

Nikki looks at the picture, has a flashback of meeting Walter, and says she doesn't recognize him.  The authorities tell them they must accept that Victor is dead and they may never find him.

Cane apologizes to Chloe for jumping down her throat.  He asks her to wait to announce the marriage - there's something he has to do before they go public.  He leaves and Chloe starts talking to her belly about waiting 15 minutes or 10.

The reporter is asking Jack questions about Victor.  Jack says Victor has a black hole for a heart.

Noah asks Phyllis what she thinks about Victor's disappearance.  She says they found the body and they're going to ID it today.  Noah walks out.  Sharon sees it and digs into Phyllis.  Phyllis says she couldn't lie to him.   Sharon says she makes the decisions about her son.

Nick tells Nikki he believes Victor is out there somewhere.

Tyra tells Neil she appreciates the job and hanging out with everyone, but Ana is young and she'll need her in New Hampshire.  Neil says he admires her for being an incredible mother.  Tyra says he's incredible too and Karen steps in.  There's a knock at the door Lily answers it and it's Cane.  He apologizes for not calling first.  Ana sees Cane and invties him inside.   Ana offers him some cake.  Cane declines.  (Feel the awkwardness).  Lily and Cane step outside.  He tells her he married Chloe.  Lily tells him to go.  Cane says he'll never stop loving her.  Lily tells him to go. 

Chloe comes in Restless Style announcing her marriage to Cane to Sharon who could care less.  Phyllis is on the phone with Nick and Sharon wants to talk to him.  He asks about Noah and says he'll call him later.  Sharon tells Nick to come home soon and safe and hangs up.  Phyllis tells Sharon to stop obsessing about Nick - she's not married to him anymore.  Jack says they're all concerned.  Sharon says she's worried about Nick.

Phyllis tells Chloe to stop flashing her ring - she knows she's engaged and got an invite to the engagement party.  But she may not be welcome once the new issue of Restless Style comes out.  Chloe tells Phyllis she and Cane eloped. and wonders why Phyllis would't be welcome.  Phyllis tells her to read the David Chow article.

Lily tells Ana she'll email her everyday.  Neil hugs Ana.  Tyra hugs Neil as "Bless the Beast and the Children" plays in the background.  Tyra hugs Devon.  Devon hugs Ana.  Everyone is crying.  They leave.  Neil ask Lily if she wants to talk about Cane coming over.  She says no - she's going to be by herself for a while.  Devon tells Neil he's going to stay in school.

Jack tells Sharon the interview airs tomorrow.  Noah overhears Jack talking smack about Nick and gets angry.  Sharon says Nick is not just a business partner. Sharon says they're conflict with Nick and Pnyllis is tearing the family apart.

Nick and Nikki are waiting for the flight to take off. 

Lily is on the coffee shop patio totally depressed.  Cane sees her and comes to sit down with her.  Lily tells him that Ana just left.  Cane tells her he only married Chloe to establish legal rights to the baby.  LIly says he married her so quickly.  Cane says he had to and he wants her to wait for him so he can divorce her. 

Devon leaves to go change his major, leaving Neil and Karen alone.  Karen wants to go to his place, but Neil says it will feel empty without Tyra and Ana there.

Jack apologizes to Noah.  Noah says he never liked Victor.  Jack says he respected him as a business partner and will miss him in a strange way.  Noah forgives Jack.

Cane asks Lily if they will be together again.  Lily says she wants to believe it.  Cane says they wiill be back together.  Lily says he slept with Chloe. Cane says he doesn't remember anything from that night.  What he does know is that he doesn't love Chloe and that his heart belongs to Lily.  Tell him that she'll wait for him.  Just then Chloe comes in asking Lily if she knows about the marriage.  Lily gets up and leaves.  Cane goes after Lily.

While Nick is sleeping on the plane, Nikki sneaks off.

The little dictator begins his reign

Nick finds Nikki crying at the bar.  He wants to know if she's heard anymore news on Victor.  She says that he's gone.

Adam is in Victor's office staring at a portrait of TGVN.  Then he goes and sits in his father's chair and puts a picture of Victoria and Victor face-down.  Michael comes in and asked what Adam is doing.  Adam says Victor is dead and he's going to be making some changes.

Cane and Chloe are at the courthouse to get married.  They have to wait an hour for the judge.    Cane says he just wants to get it over with and shuts out Chloe.  Chloe begins to play rock, paper, scissors by herself to try and make Cane laugh.  He's not going for it.

At the campus house, Devon tells Lily that Ana wants to live with him now.  Lily says Ana has to go back to Tyra.  Devon says Ana should go to music school in New Hampshire.  Ana comes in saying she doesn't want to be sent away.  Devon explains to her that no one's sending her away - she has a choice.  Lily tells Ana that nothing has to change between Ana and Tyra. 

Someone asks Chloe where's her bouquet.  Chloe says it's not that kind of wedding.  Chloe says Cane is acting like he's at a funeral home.  Cane says that's how he feels.  Chloe says she's sick of being reminded that she's not Lily.  Cane says is this conversation necessary.    Choe says he can at least try to pretend that he's not repulsed by her.  Cane looks away.

Nick wants to take Nikki home.  Nikki refuses to leave Victor in the ocean.  Nick says he'll step up the search to bring Victor home.

Michael asks Adam if he's jumping the gun - Victor's not legally dead yet.  Au contraire - Adam has the death certificate from Mexico.  MIchael says it's legal.  Adam tells Michael he works for him now.

Cane is now pacing around the waiting room. Chloe complains that he's not talking to her.  Cane says he's only marrying her because he thinks she'll run off with the baby.  Otherwise, he'd send her away so he'd never have to see her face again.  Chloe starts crying.

Adam tells Neil that he inherited the company.  Neil says he doesn't think that they should make any moves yet.  Adam says he's changing things and tells Neil that he's fired because he disrespects him.

Cane gives Chloe a tissue.  Cane says he's surprised she can cry at all.  Chloe begins her sob story.  Her father left her mom before she was born and she was too busy working to pay her attention and sent her away.  She says she has a giraffe which was her constant.  Cane says he had a kangeroo.  Chloe says one day she came home - her mom had a surprise for her - a redocorated room.  She says she felt like a stranger to her mother.  Cane says he understands how that feels.  Chloe says she's happy that the baby is going to have two parents that always wanted him.

Lily and Devon are still trying to convince Ana to go to the performing arts school.  Devon says he wants her to go because she's his sister.

Neil bumps into Michael and Karen and tells them that Adam fired him.  Michael told Victor not to leave everyting to Adam.  Neil says he's not going anywhere.

Nick says a search team is going to look for Victor.  Nick says he's taking Nikki home.  Nikki refuses to leave.  Just then, Victoria calls.

Adam tells Michael that he wants his father's will executed quickly and professionally.  Michael says he's a consumate professional.  Michael says it may not be executed as quickly as he would like - he's going to challenge the will.  Adam says he doesn't care - it will be his.

Nikki tells Victoria that Victor is dead.  Victoria doesn't believe it and she's heard she's started drinking again.  Nikki says she felt she didn't have the willpower without Victor being alive.  Victoria wants Nikki to go home and get help.  They're going to get through it together.

Devon tells Ana that he sees her amazing talent and wants her to get her talent developed.  Ana says she still doesn't know.  Devon says she'll be around other kids who share her dream and he'll always be in her life.

The judge arrives.  Cane pulls out the marriage license and stares at it.  He flashes back to proposing to Lily. 

Karen tells Neil that she's glad he's putting up a fight.  Karen says she's going to tell off Adam.    Neil says Adam needs him.  Adam tells Neil to pack up his things or he'll call security.  Karen calls Adam a punk and quits.

Nikki is crying and tells Nick that shes going to go home.

Ana finally agrees to go to school and she's leaving tomorrow.

Michael, Neil and Karen are at the elevator talking about what a jerk Adam is.  Adam comes around the corner with a security to escort Neil and Karen out.

Cane and Chloe are back at his house.  Chloe asks him if he's hungry.  Cane says no he's going to work   He tells her the only reason he married her is so that child can have the love of two parents - that's it.

Nikki and Nick leave the bar in Mexico.  The phone rings, the bartender calls back Nick and Nikki.  He tells them they found a body washed up at shore.  They don't know if it's Victor.  They can't leave until they identify the body.

Neil doesn't see it coming ...

In tomorrow's show, Adam loses his mind and fires his father's right-hand man.  But will Neil go without a fight?  Stay tuned ...

Nikki starts drinking again and it ain't pretty ...

Hello everyone ...  Thanks for your patience.  I'm rested and ready to go!  Expect all of the Young and the Restless news, recaps and spoilers to resume on The Soap Box starting today.  And now for the drama ....

At Restless Style, Sharon is showing Jack an advanced copy of the magazine.  Uh-oh - there's a nasty expose on Jack Abbott inside.  Jack thinks Nick is behind it.

At Newman, Neil and Karen run into Phyllis.  She tells them that Nick has tracked Victor to Mexico.  He was last scene on a boat, but there was a storm. 

Nick is on the Newman jet.  They've landed because the weather is bad.  Nick insists that they have to fly, but the pilot refuses. Meantime, Nikki is at the bar in Mexico grieving Victor.  She thinks he's dead.  She throws back a shot.

Heather is still in the hospital taking a business call.  Paul comes to visit her.  Heather says it's stress.  One of her tests says she has a low red blood cell count.  No one knows what that means yet.

Phyllis is now at Restless Style.  Sharon and Jack confront Phyllis about the article.

Nick is now at a bus station in Mexico.  He's willing to pay to get to that village.  A man sitting in the bus station offers to give him a ride.

Kay is at Jabot and gets a phone call from Nikki who is clearly drunk.  Kay wants to know if she's drinking and Nikki tells her she is. 

Phyllis tells Jack it was Nick's idea.  Jack threatens to stop production.  Phyllis says it will cost him plus it's already on the website. 

Nikki tells Kay that Victor is dead - he died last night on a fishing boat in the ocean.  There was a terrible storm - the boat came back in pieces and there was no sign of Victor.  Nikki starts babbling about how she and Paul used to be an item before Victor met her while she was a stripper.  She then starts telling Kay about all her exes. Kay tells Nikki to stop drinking.  Nikki doesn't listen and continues to reminisce.  Kay plays along.  Nikki says that she was Victor's diamond in the rough.  Kay asks where Paul is.  Nikki says he's not there.  Kay tells NIkki that alcohol will not bring Victor back and it will hurt her.  Nikki says she doesn't care and just wants to talk about the man she loves more than life and if she won't listen to her she's hanging up.  Kay tells her to continue her story.  NIkki says she made so many mistakes and that they were "so right" for each other.

Heather says she's thirsty.  Adam leaves to get her something to drink.  Heather tells her dad she's glad he flew back.  Just then his phone rings.  It's Kay - she wants to know where he is and why he left Nikki alone.  Paul tells Kay that Nick is on his way down there.  Kay tells Paul that Victor might be dead and Nikki started drinking again.  Back on the phone with Nikki, she wants her to tell her about when Victor proposed to her.  At the bar, Nikki and Victor's song is playing.

Nick is now with the truck driver in the middle of the storm.  He calls Phyllis.  Nick tells her that they fear Victor may have drowned and he needs her to take care of things back in Genoa City.  Phyllis says there's a chance he may still be alive.  Nick says he's not going to believe the worst.  Phyllis calls Neil and tells him the news.  At Newman, Neil is in Victor's office.  Karen comes in and he tells her that Victor might be dead.  Neil starts to reminisce about how he just graduated from Stanford with an MBA when he started working for Victor.  Neil says Victor has been like a father to him and a great friend.

Back at the bar in Mexico, Nikki is still on the phone with Kay, and she's talking about the time she got shot and was in the hospital and Victor left Diane for her.  Kay asks Nikki to tell her another story while she calls Nick.  Kay tells Nick that his mom hit the bottle again.  Nikki is now telling Kay about the time Victor did her make up while she was in the hospital so she could feel beautiful.  Kay asks Nick how soon he can get there.   Nick says he's trying to get there as fast as he can. 

Adam finds out that Victor is dead.  Heather tells him Paul got a call from Katherine Chancellor.  Adam says he's only got to know Victor for six months - he can't be gone.  Heather hugs him.

Sharon is livid that her name is being smeared.  Jack says he can't let the magazine fold.

Phyllis is now at Newman with Neil and Karen.  Phyllis wants to figure out a plan to deal with the news of Victor's death.

Adam asks Paul why Victor was in Mexico.  Paul says he doesn't know yet.  Adam says he has to leave but he'll take her home.  Paul says he'll take Heather home.  Paul says it seems like Adam has it together.  Heather says he hides his feelings.

Nikki tells Kay that she's not worth caring about.  Kay tells Nikki she's loved and she knows it.  Kay begs her to stop.  Nikki continues to pretend she's at an AA meeting.  Nikki regrets leaving Victor - the love of her life.  She starts blaming herself for Sabrina's death.  Kay tells her she's not going to listen to this garbage.  Nikki says she is responsible for all of it.  Kay tells Nikki to go back to her hotel and go to sleep.  When she wakes up, Nick will be there.  Kay says it's possible that Victor is still alive and she should cling to that hope.  Nikki says life isn't worth living without Victor and hangs up.

Heather says Paul has known Victor for a long time.  Paul says yes and they have a bond which is hard to explain.  The doctor comes in and tells Heather that she needs to be admitted.  She didn't like the test results.

Phyllis says they have to issue a press release on behalf of Nick, Victoria and Adam.   Just then, Adam bursts in demanding why he wasn't informed about Victor's death.  He says Newman was left to him and he's now running things. 

Nick tells Sharon about Victor and wants her to tell Noah before he hears it elsewhere.  Jack wants to know if it's fact or rumor and if they found a body.  Sharon says no.  Jack says unless he sees a corpse, he won't believe he's dead.

Kay is leaving Nikki a voicemail asking her to call.   Nikki is now outside in the rain, crying and calling out for Victor.

In a shocking turn of events (sense the sarcasm), Nikki won't listen to Paul who suggests she stay in Genoa City while he tracks down Victor in Mexico.

Lauren, Michael and Gloria take it all in ..

It's a full moon in Malibu where Michael is processing the fact that the guru is his father - Lowell Baldwin.   He introduces himself as "River" and tells Gloria she hasn't aged a day.  Jeffrey tells him that she' s not "his" Glo.  Kevin reminds them that ti's their wedding day.  River says everything happens for a reason.

Tyra, Neil and Devon are at Indigo.  Devon wants to know the truth.  Neil tells Devon that Ana is not his cousin - she's his sister.

Lily sees Cane at Crimson Lights.  He goes over to her.  Not far behind is Chloe wearing the engagement ring that he gave Lily.  She tells Lily that Cane just gave her the ring and it must be difficult for her.  Cane barks at her to back off.  She walks away.  Cane tells Lily it's not supposed to be this way - he should be with her.  Lily reassures him that he's doing the right thing. - giving his baby a family.

Back at Indigo, Devon wants to know how long Neil knew the truth?  Neil says he just found out.  Devon wants to know the truth.  Tyra says while his mother disappeared for a while she came back hone pregnant.  She offered to raise Ana.  Devon is furious that no one told him he had a little sister.

At the ashram, River is performing the ceremony.  Off to the side, Michael can't believe River is his father.  Gloria told him to leave well enough alone.  Kevin and Jana pledge their undying love and tie the knot.

Lily tells Cane she's meeting her family at Indigo and needs to go.  Cane tells Lily she's the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with her and he will find a way for them to be together.  He kisses her in the middle of the coffee house in front of everyone.  He rushes out.  Jill sees it and asks Chloe what's going on.  Chloe shows Jill her engagement ring and tells her they need to talk.

At the wedding reception, Michael and Lauren are still reeling that River is his father.  Amber throws an insult at Colleen who's with Daniel.  Gloria speaks to River privately and tells him how hard it was for her and Michael when he left them.  River says they didn't need him and he had to go away.  Michael tells Lauren when he was a kid he made up reasons why his father wasn't there for him.  He doesn't know how he's supposed to talk to him.  Just then the guru comes over asking how Michael is.

Devon says Roxanne is going to drop off Ana.  Devon wants to know why Tyra didn't tell him when she come.  Tyra says she was afraid protective services would have taken Ana from her and put her in foster care. 

Jill is with Chloe and offers to writer her a big check so she can go away.  Chloe says she would never accept it and that she's not after money.  Jill laughs in her face and tells her she did whatever she had to do to get "the brass ring,"  but Jill says she can't stop her because no one could stop her back in the day.  Jill says she will support her son's choice.  Chloe says she'll be the best mother and wife ever. Jill says she doubts that and she'll help her clean up her act because she will not embarass her son or her company.

River wants to know what Gloria told Michael.  Michael says he hasn't told the authorities about him but he has a legal responsibility to turn him in.  Michael goes off on him for not being there for him.  River says that love has many forms.

Jill is now with Lily on the Crimson Lights patio.  She tells Lily that Chloe will never replace her in their hearts.  Lily thanks her and tells her that she'll see her at the office.  On her way out, Chloe apologizes for waving the ring in her face.  Lily tells her if she wasn't pregnant she'd slap her across the room.

River tells Gloria he spoke with Michael and it didn't go well.  Gloria tells River that Michael is fantastic all around and throws the fact that he blew up a janitor.  He tells her he doesn't want to go on the run again.  Gloria says she's not making any promises.

Kevin and Jana are thanking everyone for coming to their wedding - it was perfect.  Daniel makes a speech - Jana and Kevin are his best friends and they're an example of how love should be - they respect each other and would never hurt the other.  He can only hope to be in a relationship that special.

River apologizes to Michael and wishes him the best.  Daniel invites Colleen on a walk and Amber overhears.

Lily is now with her family at Indigo.  Tyra tells her that Yolanda is Ana's mother.  Lily wants to know why Tyra didn't say anything and if Ana knows.  Devon asks Lily if he should tell Ana.  Lily says if she would have known that Malcolm was her father at that age she would have flipped out.

Chloe is now at Cane's house and she's ready to move in.

Michael says he isn't going to say goodbye to his "sperm donor."

Lily tells Neil that Cane proposed to Chloe and it hurts even though she told him to.  She tells Neil that he gave her the same ring he gave her - the one he promised to give to their son.  Lily says the ring should have been hers and starts crying.

Cane tells Chloe they'll be living in separate rooms and will lead separate lives.  Jill comes over.  Chloe calls her her future mom-in-law.  Jill tells her if she ever calls her that again she'll break her neck.  Jill tells them they can't afford anymore scandals now that he's CEO.  Chloe doesn't understand the "scandal." Jil says everyone knows he's in love with Lily and will want to know why he slept with her - that's why she's throwing an engagement part at the Chancellor mansion.

Kevin and Jana consumate their marriage.

Daniel and Colleen are walking around the garden.  She tells him she's glad she came.  Daniel is too.  They kiss.  Amber sees them and runs off.
