With philanthropic dollars shrinking, the YMCA was looking for a way to fund its Urban Initiative Programs. So, they have come up with the Ultimate Sports Raffle.

With almost 70,000 seats, Heinz Field is a pretty big place, but the Steelers Nation is much larger.
Add to those who bleed black and gold, the legions of Penguins fans, and the Oakland Zoo led followers of Pitt men's basketball and you can only imagine the competition for the hottest raffle ticket in town.
With philanthropic dollars shrinking, the YMCA was looking for a way to fund its Urban Initiative Programs. So, they have come up with the Ultimate Sports Raffle.
The Y's Pat Siger says the winner of the December 5th drawing will get "two season tickets - club level - for the Steelers, season tickets for the Penguins in the new arena on the club level and two season tickets for Pitt men's basketball."
"We were trying to be creative. In this economy, the needs of our families have increased dramatically, so we tried to think of what would people really want and what would people invest $100 in - for what kind of prize," said Siger.
Pittsburgh Steeler Willie Colon says, "That's not a bad raffle, I'd sign up for it."
The YMCA is only going to sell 2000 tickets to improve the odds for those who buy a ticket.
Siger says the drawing will be "based on the Big Four drawing of the Pennsylvania Lottery on December 5th. On the ticket itself you have five chances for the big four. So actually a $100 ticket gives you five chances to win."
