Shark Steam Blaster: Does It Really Do That?

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― You've seen it on television… the Shark Steam Blaster. It's supposed to be easier than a mop and you don't need all of the chemicals. But for $170, we wanted to know -- does it really do that?

The Shark Steam Blaster hooked me with a floor attachment that is supposedly safe for tile and wood floors.

It glides easily back and forth. I am nervous about my finished wood floors. If I'm supposed to avoid getting them wet, will steam really be okay?

The hot steam does wet the floor, but it's dry in seconds. It seems to be doing a great job on the hardwood floors.

It seems a bit clumsy or maybe it's me or maybe a combination of both.

We try the shark steam blaster on my tile floor in the kitchen and no question, it's steaming it clean again without any chemicals.

It comes with lots of attachments to do just about anything. It's a good machine, just a little too much machine for me. The time factor here really threw me - all that down time.
