PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Like the "Golden Ticket" in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Jonas Brothers concert tickets are in demand.

The three musical brothers are set to perform for their Pittsburgh fans on August 26 at the Post-Gazette Pavilion.

Alexis Allen, 14, owns a pair of those highly coveted tickets, but she won't be using them. Instead, she has other plans for them.

"Use them to raise awareness for my foundation by raffling them off," said Allen.

At the age of 12, Allen started the Blue Lion Foundation. She says she started with simple idea of feeding needy families. Now, her long-term goal is to build a medical facility in Haiti.

Right now, Allen says she just wants to raise awareness and the Jonas Brothers tickets are certain to draw a lot of attention.

"It's really easy to sign up," says Allen. "All you have to do is put in your name and email address. And then once you sign up, you get a link. Then, you give that to other people and they put in their name and email address."

The project has turned out to be a family affair as Allen's sister won the tickets and gave them to Alexis for her foundation. Also, family and friends will be in North Park to give them away on Saturday.

The picnic starts at 2 p.m. at Lakeview Pavilion at North Park. The drawing is set for 4 p.m. and those interested in entering have until Saturday morning to sign up as many people as you can through the foundation.

Each time you do sign someone up, you increase your chances in the drawing. Also, another pair of tickets will be given away randomly to folks who just show up to support the foundation at the picnic on Saturday.
