Does It Really Do That - Ear Lifts
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
Big earrings and heavy earrings can take a toll on pierced ears.
Now a new product claims to give a boost to earlobes that become stretched out.
Ear Lift claims droopy and sagging ear lobes will become lifted and taut and appear flawless
but does it really do that?
Ear lifts are discs that are supposedly made of a medical grade skin friendly adhesive that takes the earring weight off the earring hole.
Own tester, Teresa Simmons applied the ear lift to the back of her ear lobe.
She tried to poke her earring post through the tape and quickly found there's a big learning curve -- she missed the tape time after time.
So we left Ear Lifts with Teresa to see if she can get the hang of it.
But three weeks later, Teresa is a pro.
It took a couple of days but she likes them.
"You can see my hole is not hanging," said Teresa. "They look brand new."
Teresa says Ear Lifts work better on lighter earrings. The heavier ones tend to pull the hole down again.
Ear Lifts cost $10 plus $6 shipping and handing for a month's supply.
So would Teresa recommend it?
"I think it's good. If you can't afford surgery and it's quick and easy," she said. "I really like it. I'm going to use it.
