Does The One Touch Can Opener Really Work?

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The newest can opener on the market doesn't look like a can opener. It looks more like a cell phone.

However, the One Touch can opener claims to do the job automatically - hands free.

But does it really do that?

One of the draws of the product is that anyone can use it.

Lee Phillips' arthritis makes most can openers difficult to use.

Unlike some seen-on TV products, it's easy to put together and equally as easy to use.

The lid came off in less than 30 seconds.

Phillips likes the simplicity.

The can opener does not work on lipless cans or odd shaped cans.

However, Phillips says the job it does do, it does well. She says it's worth the money.

Does it really do that? KDKA's Yvonne Zanos says it really does and it does it well.

The only caution Phillips has is that it is so easy to use, it should be kept out of the hands of children.
