Seneca Valley Students Happy As School Year Ends

(KDKA) It's almost July, but today marked the last day of classes in the Seneca Valley School District.

While seniors actually wrapped up classes on Tuesday, other students in the district were excited to wrap up classes today.

Seneca Valley's school calendar was pushed back because of the teacher's strike last fall that lasted for five weeks.

Despite threats of a second strike, teachers ratified a new contract in April.

Students and staff in the school district will resume classes on September 3.
