Catholic Schools Week: Rebel Way

(KDKA) Students at Seton La Salle High School spent Catholic Schools Week 2008 focusing on health and nutrition.

A big part of that centered on their new walking trail, Rebel Way.

"Rebel Way is part of a multifaceted approach that our school uses to get us in shape," said one student. "For example, lately we've been having healthier choices on our menu. I think it's helping everyone at the Seton La Salle community make better choices for living a healthy lifestyle."

Students say they use the walking trail during lunch periods and it is incorporated into gym class. Also, the school's athletes, like those on the cross country team, use the trail for their training.

Rebel Way opened back in October and can be used not only by the students but staff, parents and the community.
