Police are investigating the alleged sexual relationship between a 26-year-old Moon High School teacher and her 14-year-old male student.
Beth Ann Chester, 26, was a freshman physical education teacher. She allegedly had sex with her student and sent him nude pictures and sexually-related text messages on his cell phone.
"She fully admits to having full sexual intercourse with this child in her vehicle," Moon Township Police Chief Leo McCarthy said.
Police say the boy denied having sex with his teacher, but police say he was likely trying to protect her.
Chester handed school officials her resignation on December 27, but the district hasn't acted on it yet.
Police are now trying to find out if Chester sent other students text messages too.
"We've had a couple parents contact us and tell us that their children also received some text messages," McCarthy said. "Now, we don't know if they were sexual in nature and we don't know if there was any sexual contact. We are meeting with those people tonight to try to get to the bottom and any further victims."
Chester is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
