Cheerleaders Vie For Trophies At Kennywood

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― It's a tradition for many local cheerleading squads: before the start of the school year, dozens of teams from all across the region follow the Kennywood arrows to compete in the annual Cheerleading Day at the park.

This year, over 1000 cheerleaders representing about 50 teams took to the mat to show their school spirit (and KDKA was there)!

After about three hours of watching the energetic teams compete, the judges faced the daunting decision of having to pick the winners.
