Knoll Continues Treatment, Remains In Hospital

HARRISBURG (KDKA/AP) ― Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll is continuing to receive treatment for cancer at a hospital in Maryland.

Gov. Ed Rendell says Knoll remains in the cancer center at Johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore.

Knoll has been hospitalized for more than two weeks.

The 78-year-old Knoll has said she was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in early July and has undergone radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

She is a McKees Rocks native.
