President Bush Presents Award, Attends Fundraiser

MOON TWP. (KDKA) ― President George W. Bush has arrived to attend a private fundraiser and presented an award to a local woman.

The President landed at the 911th Airlift Wing shortly before 5 p.m.

He presented the President's Volunteer Service Award to Lydia Humenycky, of Irwin, for her work in the Peace Corps.

She spent two years working and teaching business skills in communities in West Africa.

He went to a Republican fundraiser at a private home in Sewickley Heights where he was expected to raise more than $1 million.
