The Pittsburgh Tea Party movement is visiting Washington D.C. today to take on health care reform.
The group boarded four buses early this morning in Ross Township.
They are holding a rally this afternoon against a health care reform bill that could come up for a vote in the House on Saturday.
"We are putting forward a bill that reflects our best values and addresses our greatest challenges," said Speaker of the House and U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi.
But money, medical care and the quality of that care are big concerns for the protestors. They say they believe the changes care little for the actually patient.
"Our goal is to make impact with Congress that we want health care stopped," said Jeff Steigerwalt, Tea Party member. "There are many alternatives to revamping health care, 80 percent
85 percent of America is very pleased with their health care. Why are we destroying it just to fix 15 percent?"
Steigerwalt says he also plans to meet with Rep. Jason Altmire this afternoon over the bill.
