Sen. Clinton Campaigns In Uniontown

UNIONTOWN (KDKA) ― As the Pennsylvania primary approaches, Sen. Hillary Clinton made another trip to the Pittsburgh area.

She spoke at the Penn State-Fayette gymnasium which reached full capacity 45 mintues before her event began.

During her speech, she contrasted the current economy to what it was under her husband's administration.

"But I never understood the criticism. What part of it didn't they like - the peace or the prosperity?," she said.

Clinton also promised a sharp policy change in education.

"And I also will end the unfunded mandate known as No Child Left Behind," she said.

Clinton plans to campaign in Westmoreland County Tuesday morning.

Meantime, Sen. Barack Obama is taking a few days off of the campaign trail, vacationing in the Virgin Islands.

On Friday, Obama will kickoff a "Road To Change" bus tour which will start in our area and end six days later in Philadelphia.
