Clinton Visit Continues, Hoffa Campaigns For Obama

(KDKA) Just weeks away from the Pennsylvania primary, the Presidential candidates are continuing their push for local votes.

Today, Senator Hillary Clinton is holding two events, and a familiar face to local workers will campaign for Senator Barack Obama.

Teamsters General President Jimmy Hoffa Jr. is in our area today to support Sen. Obama. This morning, Hoffa will talk to workers at UPS on Beaver Avenue in the North Side neighborhood.

The stop comes as part of the 'Hoffa's Working Class Convoy for Change,' which is a group of trucks making its way around the area talking to union members.

Later today, Sen. Clinton continues her latest local visit. She will again appear in Hopewell Township at 5 p.m. where she will speak at the Beaver County Democratic Committee's annual banquet.

All the tickets for the event have been sold out.

Also, this evening, she will appear at Heinz Field at 6:30 p.m. to address the Allegheny County Democratic Committee annual dinner.

Stay with KDKA for the latest on Campaign '08.
