Pittsburgh Zoo Celebrates Birth Of Sea Lion Pup

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium is celebrating the first sea lion ever born at the zoo.

Zoey the sea lion gave birth to a female pup on June 13, but zoo officials are just now announcing the special delivery.

The pup is reportedly doing just fine, but zoo keepers are keeping a close eye on her.

The zoo plans to show off the new pup Tuesday.
