Pittsburgh Zoo Welcomes 2 New Polar Bears

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Two new residents are being introduced today at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.

The zoo's two male polar bears, Koda and Nuka, are getting some company in the form of two female polar bears.

The two-year-old twins are named Anana and Aurora.

Zoo officials say the bears arrived at the zoo about three weeks ago from the Toledo Zoo and have spent some time getting used to their new digs and keepers.

The zoo says they will rotate the bears on the tundra display so the public will have a chance to see all four bears.

Stay with KDKA for more on the zoo's new polar bears.
