Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium Hosts Job Fair

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― With so many victims of the nation's struggling economy, some people are looking for a new job or a second job to earn some extra money.

Today, that brought many people to Highland Park to attend a job fair hosted by the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium.

In total, officials at the zoo say they have about 200 jobs to fill for the summer and interest has well exceeded that number.

Potential employees, both young and old, lined up and filled out applications, hoping to be one of the people hired to work as a cashier, customer service representative or food service employee at the zoo this summer.

Zoo officials say most of the positions pay the minimum wage and they are always accepting applications and resumes.
