PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus met his namesake – the newest tiger cub born at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.

Miley's dad will dropped by the zoo to meet Billy Ray, the Amur tiger cub born on Mother's Day.

Officials at the zoo say donors named the cub after Cyrus in honor of a deceased family member who was a big fan of the singer.

The zoo's veterinary staff has been hand-raising the cub since shortly after his May 11th birth because his mother rejected him.

Billy Ray -- the tiger, that is, will likely grow to between 8-and 11-feet long and weigh around 450- to 675 pounds!
