Pittsburgh Marathon Offers Running Options
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
If you don't have the stamina to run a marathon, you are in luck.
In one case, you can lean on your friends for support.
Pittsburgh Marathon organizers are letting people run the 26.2 miles in various legs.
That means you can run it with teammates, relay-style.
"I never considered doing a marathon at all until I ran into Dee when I was working out and she encouraged me to consider the relay," said runner Jill Brufsky.
"I am doing the 7.6 miles, I think the second leg of the race," said Jean McNamara.
The race isn't until May 3.
So you have time to get your team together and train.
Stay with KDKA for more on the Pittsburgh Marathon as the big day approaches.
