Even though the 2010 Pittsburgh Marathon is more than 300 days away, organizers are rolling out early bird registration tomorrow starting at midnight.
Registration can be done online, and will only cost $75 per runner if done before Nov. 28. The price increases the closer the date gets to race day on Sunday May 2, 2010.
This year's marathon has added a five-person relay to its lineup of running events. The 2010 early bird registration costs $160.
The 2009 Pittsburgh Marathon was the 20th running of the event, and the first in a six-year absence in the city. It boasted more than 10,000 participants and eighty percent of them said they would run again in a survey conducted after the 26 mile race.
Ethiopian native Kassahun Kabiso placed first in the men's marathon with a time of 2:22:49. Kristin Price took the top spot for the women coming in at 2:36:31.
