Downtown Partnership Bringing Paris To The 'Burgh
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ―
One local group is trying to bring a little bit of Paris right here to the 'Burgh.
Using a $1 million grant, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership says they will match funds spent by business owners who make improvements to the outside of their buildings.
It's being called the "Paris to Pittsburgh" program.
They say the improvements can be anything from street lighting to flower boxes to an outdoor café.
The Partnership says they are trying to give the city a more European feel.
