PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Pittsburghers have been celebrating for the past year but today is officially the 250th anniversary of the Steel City.

On November 25, 1758, George Washington and General John Forbes named our area Pittsburgh.

The Heinz History Center is celebrating the big day with a reduced admission price for the day.

It will only cost $2.50 to get in today.

The history center is open until 5 p.m.
