Cow Causes Crash In Mercer County

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― A deer isn't the only animal to worry about jumping in front of a moving vehicle.

For one man in Mercer County, it was a cow that created a problem.

According to police, Paul McConnell was driving on State Route 208 in Springfield Township when a cow crossed into his path.

McConnell had to pull his vehicle off to the side of the road after hitting the cow, officials say.

The animal was not hurt and walked off after the crash.

McConnell was not injured either.
