Animals Seized From Uniontown House Of Filth

UNIONTOWN (KDKA) ― Humane officers raided a house of filth in Uniontown, removing dead animals along with some living ones in need of medical help.

Armed with a search warrant, the Fayette County SPCA removed 17 dogs from the Connellsville Street house.

They also found 17 deceased tortoise and turtles, four dead chinchillas and a dead bird.

The SPCA said they had been getting complaints and couldn't get the couple living there to respond.

A humane officer is planning to charge the couple with animal cruelty as well as improperly disposing of dead animals.

The couple was unable to be reached for comment.

Meantime, the SPCA is asking for donations so they can take care of the dogs while the case moves forward.
