Falcon Chicks Banded, Examined At Gulf Bldg.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Two falcon chicks were examined and tested today.

The chicks hatched last month at the Gulf Tower in Downtown Pittsburgh.

They were given a veterinary exam to check on their weight and overall health.

Then, the chicks were put back into the nest with their parents.

Once critically endangered, Peregrine Falcons have made a remarkable recovery due to conservation efforts over the last few decades.
