Black Bear Captured In New Kensington

NEW KENSINGTON (KDKA) ― A 150-pound black bear caused quite a commotion in New Kensington.

The bear was resting in Bill Enciso's tree.

Police kept people back, but the bear didn't seem too menacing.

A game officer tranquilized it with a dart. The bear fell about 20 feet to the ground and was taken away.

The bear was relocated to the game lands of Cambria County.
