Motorcyclist Hits Bear In Butler Township

BUTLER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) ― Car versus deer accidents are common in our area but a motorcycle rider in Butler County was injured after colliding with a bear on Memorial Day.

The biker was headed down Route 422 in Butler Township when the animal ran out into the road.

Neighbors say it's been years since they've seen a bear in the area. 

The biker is going to be okay.
