Apparent Dog Fighting Operation Uncovered

Working off an anonymous tip, officers went to a house on Clifford Street where they found nearly a dozen pit bulls all showing signs of being involved in dog fighting.

Police say they've uncovered what appears to be a dog fighting operation in Lincoln-Lemington.
Working off an anonymous tip, officers went to a house on Clifford Street where they found nearly a dozen pit bulls all showing signs of being involved in dog fighting.
They also found two bulletproof vests.
Police are executing a search warrant at the home and bringing out some of those animals.
A dead dog was also found in a closet.
Police have questioned three people who were in the home but at this point they are not facing charges.
