'No Leash' Policy May End At Local Dog Park

SOUTH FAYETTE TWP. (KDKA) ― Dogs are allowed to roam free at a local park while their owners are only feet away, but that all may change.

South Fayette Township Commissioners are talking about ending the no-leash law at Fairview Park.

Part of the park is designated as "free run zones" for dogs, but after several incidents there, commissioners may eliminate the area altogether.

A decision could come as soon as next week.
