Three Dogs Hanged, Burned In Fayette County

GRINDSTONE (KDKA) ― A community in Fayette County is horrified after three dogs were brutally killed.

The dogs were found with ropes around their necks hanging from a tree in Grindstone. A tire fire set underneath them was still smoldering Thursday evening.

Investigator say they may have found a satanic symbol - a pentagram - near the scene. It's not known if it's related to the hangings.

Police believe more than one person was involved since one of the dogs weighed about 80 pounds.

Humane society officers removed the dogs from the scene.

People in that area are being asked to keep a close eye on their pets.
