Sexual Predator Terrorizes Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (AP) ― A man already linked to five sexual attacks on women is believed to have committed a sixth attack early Saturday morning, police said.

"This male has become increasingly aggressive with his victims in regards to threats, physical assaults," Capt. John Darby of the Special Victims Unit said.

The man robs women at gunpoint and sexually assaults them. Because he gropes victims' feet as part of his routine, police believe he has a foot fetish.

The latest attack happened at about 5:15 a.m. Saturday in South Philadelphia, police said; the victim was a 33-year-old woman getting off a bus on her way home from work. Police believe the attacker in Saturday's crime is the same man who attacked five other women at gunpoint since Nov. 18 in the Center City and University City sections of Philadelphia.

"This male is not going to stop," Darby said. "He still has the gun; he's out there; he's threatening women."
