Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is urging all U.N.-member countries to go after terrorists inside their borders, taking a critical shot at Venezuela, which the U.S. accuses of having ties to Colombian rebels.
Rice made her comments Thursday during a visit to Brazil.
She said the United States is concerned about Venezuela's potential ties to the rebels and officials "will watch the situation and act accordingly."
Rice didn't directly answer a question about whether the State Department is considering putting Venezuela on its terror list.
