FBI Seeks Alleged West Newton Bank Robber

WEST NEWTON (KDKA) ― The FBI is searching for a man they believe is responsible for six robberies in Westmoreland County.

The latest incident happened at Commercial Bank and Trust in West Newton at about 3 p.m. Monday, but investigators think he also struck in Donora, New Stanton, Smithton and Youngwood between January 8 and April 7.

The suspect was spotted in a white work van, believed to be a Ford Ecoline.

Anyone with information should contact the FBI by calling 412-432-4000.

A $1,000 reward is available for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
