Accident Near Bentleyville Creating Traffic Mess

BENTLEYVILLE (KDKA) ― An accident involving three tractor-trailers in Washington County is leaving traffic in that area a mess today.

Officials with Washington County 911 tell us the accident happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at Exit 32-B in Bentleyville.

That road has been closed due to the accident.

According to authorities, one person has been injured and one of the trucks is leaking heating oil.

Crews are working to clean-up and clear the scene now.

PennDOT is advising motorists to detour off of I-70 at Exit 32 B (Bentleyville) onto Route 917 and return to I-70 at Ginger Hill Exit (32A).
