More Charges Filed In Pgh. Tow Pound Scam

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Two suspects in a scam at Pittsburgh's tow pound now face new charges.

Donald Matthew Tollan, 56, and Donald Mathias Tollan, 29, both of Esplen, are now charged with identity theft and criminal conspiracy.

They are accused of misrepresenting themselves as McGann and Chester Auto Sales so they could buy impounded vehicles.

In all, six people are charged in the scam.

Among those charges is an employee in the city controller's office.
