Possible Tornado Investigated In Fayette County

FAIRCHANCE (KDKA) ― The National Weather Service is looking into whether a tornado touched down in Fairchance, Fayette County.

At least three witnesses reported seeing a funnel cloud during Monday's storms.

Meteorologists say a thunderstorm that moved through the area contained a rotation that could have produced a tornado.

However, they're unable to confirm that a twister actually touched down.
