1 Person Killed In East Liberty Stabbing

EAST LIBERTY (KDKA) ― One person is in custody after a fatal stabbing in East Liberty late Sunday evening.

According to police, officers were called to Hendon Court in Liberty Gardens and found Stephen Grandison, 21, of Homewood, laying on the sidewalk around 11:45 p.m.

Grandison had multiple stab wounds to his throat and torso and was unresponsive.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, one person has been detained in this case, but a name has not been released.
