Suspect Arrested In South Side Stabbing

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― A man wanted in connection to a stabbing on the South Side is now in custody.

Pittsburgh Police say Shane Hennen turned himself in to police 1:30 p.m. Friday.

The stabbing happened around 2:40 a.m. in the 2100-block of Wharton Street.

Police say the victim, 25-year-old Rayan Lambert, had been involved in a fight at Diesel Night Club.

The fight was broken up, but officials say it resumed a short time later on Wharton Street and ended when Lambert was stabbed in the neck.

He was also cut on his left wrist.

Authorities say Lambert was taken to Mercy Hospital where he is in critical condition.

Hennen is facing charges of aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
