Suspects Sought In Beltzhoover Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Authorities continue their investigation into a shooting that left three bystanders wounded on Wednesday afternoon in Beltzhoover.

Police say they believe that two men were shooting at each other on Curtain Avenue just before 5 p.m.

According to officials, a 54-year-old woman is in grave condition after suffering a gunshot wound to the head.

Officials say she was sitting on her sister's porch when it happened. Her 50-year-old sister was also wounded in the hand in the crossfire, police say.

Also, a 61-year-old handyman was shot in the leg.

They both remain in stable condition.

Meanwhile, neighbors say they heard multiple gunshots fired, but it is a common occurrence in their neighborhood.

"They sounded like they were right beside me. It sounded like all the shots were right beside me," said neighbor, Nicole Moye-Jones. "It was just a lot of them. It lasted at least 30 seconds to a minute and it did not stop and usually when they shoot guns, it stops."

No arrests have yet been made in the shooting.
