One Man Dead After Mt. Washington Bar Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Police continue looking for suspects after a shooting at a Mount Washington bar claimed the life of one man overnight.

The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. at Sonny's Place located in the 300-block of Shiloh Street.

According to police, witnesses say two groups of people got into an argument at the bar before the shooting.

Authorities say a man reportedly pulled a gun and fired several times hitting one man.

Officials have identified the victim as 23-year-old Brandon Alton. He reportedly suffered wounds to the torso area.

He was pronounced dead a short time later at Mercy Hospital.

Police say they have questioned witnesses and continue their search for the gunman.
